The initial attraction is reversed in the new comic.

I wanted to have Zoey not just be a character that was designed to be the girlfriend-- like she was in the first iteration of ZR... so in doing so, I was able to flip things on their head and the story presented itself a lot more naturally after that.

Roxxy is also back working with Zoey at "Burning Issue", but in the new comic they're not antagonistic towards each other. In fact, they're roommates in the new comic.

In trying to flesh Zoey out in a comic where she's not just the de facto zombie girlfriend, I wanted her to have a support structure in place to give her some more depth.
