Having 1940's black and white movie Santa was a fun idea where I could put a film grain and desaturate him. The Hawaiian Santa was basically just 'cause I had the idea of the wreath stand-in for a lei necklace.

There's two more strips and an epilogue, so three strips in this arc. I wanted to end during the week of Christmas and the epilogue is supposed to take place after Christmas so it where it lands is about "right" for the timing.
