I wasn't originally going to have Zoey's family in this style of home. I was going to have them live more in the city... but when I was coming up with the idea for this arc, I figured out that her family was going to be different than I had originally figured when I setup the reboot. So putting them more out of downtown made more sense...

It also meant I got to reuse the location I had spent hours on for one comic in 2016. I had to edit it for the time of year and whatnot, but getting the extra use out of those hours I put in makes me feel better.

Next week, is my birthday. I'm going to take off putting up updates while I work on comics-- both 'Zombie Roomie' and 'Dam It!'. I'd rather be able to do a decent strip and have it ready a week or so in advance-- posted to Patreon, than finish a strip and immediately post it to the site like I had done for years in the past. I want to put more into the buffer pile... that's my birthday present to myself.
