Yep, the hat Zoey is wearing is a reference to Dumbing of Age. I thought Dina's hat would be a nice souvenir that the museum sold in their gift shop. And folks have asked me if dragons were real in ZR, and I never really had a reason to say yes or no until this strip so apparently yes they are! Maybe when we get around to exploring Glenda's backstory a little more we'll see one.
