In designing the layout for this strip I had to ask myself how much longer the curly telephone cord thingy would still be recognizable... as a society we're moving away from that faster and faster each year. There is the wacky attachment that looks like a retro phone with its own cord for your cell phone but I'm sure there are people alive who have never used a phone with a springy cord before. I've mentioned that Zoey rides a scooter before, but I haven't shown it in a panel before today. I wanted to have her outside of the apartment building when the siege started, so I decided to work in the scooter. I stuck on some decals that are based on her tattoos.
