For the entirety of the legacy timeline, Zelda, Zoey's mom had one line of dialogue... and that one was one that could have easily been given to her dad. That's to say she was basically an NPC... she had no real role in the comic.

This arc and the reboot change that. I've defined a character for her. With Zoey living in the same city as her parents they're much closer and they're part of her life unlike how she saw them for a family trip and then when they were upset with her... now they're a happy, albeit kooky, family.

That is just to say, Zelda will have more dialogue in this arc.
