There was originally a strip at this point with Jack coming in to get some snacks, but it felt "off" with John being freaked out at this moment... so it'll probably end up being on the cutting room floor... We had several strips with Jack involved in the lead up to this arc so I don't feel super bad about leaving him out of this portion.

This strip also was going to have Felicia pop in for the third panel, but adding in another character here didn't really add enough to warrant taking it away from Jules, so I stayed with these two only.
