I wanted to give us a little bit of a cleanse after the revelations last week and before we get into anything deeper with the Zoey arc... So we get Mnthulhu wackiness for this week's strips. Trying to come up with a strip with him doing something to annoy the hospital staff was difficult and then when I came up with the gag I wasn't sure how to do it. At first I thought of a one panel, but that didn't pace well. So the action in front of George overlapping the "three panels" in the back seemed to give a better sense of time. There's also a strip coming up in the next few weeks that needed George having drank something recently so this killed two birds with one stone. I also liked the "Soda-Cola" machine I did for the background.
