Like I said before we're getting some new stripper characters and this is telling us a couple of them.
I've been in a funk for the last week and not really been feeling like I'm that creative or funny so writing jokes has been very difficult, that's a big part in why this strip is just foreshadowing some characters instead of landing on a clever punchline or something. I know every time that I mention I'm having trouble writing jokes someone pipes up saying, "They don't all have to be funny." I know that... it's just when it's a strip that does nothing it's not really worth anyone's time-- yours reading it and definitely mine drawing it. So I try to make them either silly, leading to something, or dramatic... if it doesn't do one of those it's pretty pointless.
When I'm feeling uncreative it leads me further into a funk and being in a funk makes it harder to write. It's a vicious cycle that is difficult to break.
I'll finish up this arc this week and try to get the Lizzy and Glenda thing wrapped up soon too.
