Figuring out how many strips I needed to get done by the end of the month, ZR's anniversary, I realized I wanted to address why Lizzy wasn't with the other characters at the television show before too much longer. I also wanted to get one last comic where Harvey was full on invisible before I start putting him in clothes/etc. due to the Winter weather conditions. Plus I had the idea jotted down about Lizzy talking to "herself" in front of someone in my idea file... it works better if he's not shown in clothes. The end of this strip went through several revisions until I landed on this. At first Lizzy was going to act super crazy and start shouting gibberish to scare the other woman. While it would be funny, it didn't feel like Lizzy as much as being able to have her accidentally fall into a coincidence with the excuse she gave. In addition to a few wardrobe changes for Lizzy, I gave her half rimless glasses. I wear that style of glasses and have since I started wearing glasses around the time I was 19 or so. It's a little more effort to do, like the colored line art for certain character's hair, but it's something that looks pretty neat in my opinion.
