This took me far longer than I planned...
And for stupid reasons.
I had gone to bed before I finished it thinking I would just wake up and knock it out... but I couldn't. When I sat down at my desktop, my cintiq's screen came on but all of the input functions did not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and checked all manner of settings in Windows... but nothing worked.
Finally, I decided to check the cables. It turns out that sometime-- months ago at least... the power brick for the cintiq had fallen back behind my desk and was hanging by the cord. Gravity and whatnot must have finally pulled just enough of the cord from the brick to make the input section not work on the cintiq. Had the screen also not turned on I'd have figured it out much, much earlier... but with it turning on I was stumped for hours.
So that was my Friday morning.
How was yours?
