This might be a surprise for some old school ZR readers.

Jack and Lyn's mom is alive in the reboot. There's a few storyline reasons why that's so... the main reason being with Glenda's seeding of the new timeline and the fact that Jack stole her "soul" from Heaven.

Part of that also comes from the fact that Lizzy asked Glenda to help folks get along better with their family. Lyn her dad were at odds the last we saw, so having Filys back will help change their relationship, too.
