When I introduced the cult that worships Mini's biological father, the cultist and father both had the spiral on his head. As Mini gets older I've been wanting to add details to him and that was an easy one to pull from. In the past when I've used confetti I would make a Photoshop brush and randomize it around... but I just wasn't feeling that for this one. I changed to a flat brush and put down marks where they felt appropriate. Both techniques are equally viable but if I had to do more character art than this required I definitely would have gone the other way.
