So, we meet George's friends... In the coming strips we'll find out their names and some of their back-stories. I kinda dig the backlighting on the Monsters... it's close to how I played with shading originally when I was working on a visual style for this strip.  I'm going to see about working on it some more to get the eventual shading look for Zombie Roomie. Also, I was discussing using silhouettes on Twitter so I wanted to try the practice.  I'm going to do some more sketching with silhouetting the characters and see if I can't make them even better for later attempts at it. -John
